We opened the Land Linked Zambia Conference-HH

Fellow Citizens, This morning we opened the 2025 Land linked Zambia Conference at the CIELA Resort in Chongwe, driving home a clear message: Africa thrives when we connect, collaborate, and trade as one.

We urged African nations to boost trade among ourselves, breaking down barriers with bold investments in roads, rails, and non stop border posts that speed up commerce, not slow it down. We also challenged the financial sector to slash the high cost of capital that makes busines difficult.

During the Conference we witnessed the signing of two agreements between Zambia and Angola for the development of the Lobito Corridor project and a bilateral agreement on aviation between the two countries. As your Chief Marketing Officer, we also took the opportunity to market our country as a stable investment destination.

Zambia is on a mission to double our economy, create jobs and grow our treasury revenue to deliver better health, education, and opportunities for every Zambian.
